What is a Life Coach?
A life coach is someone who comes alongside and encourages and challenges you as you move through any arena of life. Coaching helps you define where you are and where you want to be. A coach actively listens as you discover your dreams and goals and supports you while you put those dreams and goals into action. Life Coaching is about entering into the now and moving forward well.
How does Coaching work?
Coaching is all about you. You are given the regular accountability you need to stay committed to growing yourself and pressing forward. Coaching works because it takes your thoughts and dreams and helps you put them into action.
What does Coaching NOT do?
Coaching does not give you your answers, you do. You are the only one who can decide where you want to go and go there.
How is Coaching different from Counselling?
Counselling and Coaching both help with moving forward by listening, asking questions and through self discovery.
A certified Counsellor has been trained to diagnose and implement treatment plans for current struggles. They help you dig into your past so you can become more present in your life. Counsellors are trained to give guidance on personal, social, or psychological problems.
Coaching is about entering into the now and finding life balance to implement forward movement.

How do we connect for a session?
Sessions can be done in person, via Zoom, as well as over the phone. All sessions are booked on Mountain Time(MT).
What does a Coaching session look like?
Coaching sessions are held where there are as limited distractions as possible. In the first session we will determine what that means for you. Each session will be 100% lead by you. We talk about what you want to talk about.
The first sessions are about determining where you are at and where you want to be. You will set goals for yourself and I will offer observations and encouragement as you determine the next steps to reach your goals.
Each session is all about you. This is your time to take a step back from life's busy-ness and do some inner work so you can enter fully into life.
Can I bring someone with me to a session?
Group coaching is offered for those who benefit from having a close friend or family member join them on the coaching journey.
How long do we work together?
We work together as long as you need support in reaching your goals.
Working together for 3-6 sessions over 1-3 months is a good starting point. This allows you to create consistency in your life and feel confident in your journey.
